This item is made using the Tine of a Scottish red deer (Cervus elaphus scoticus) which is not endangered and is Native to Scotland.
The triskelion's meaning is unknown, but many have come to know it as the mark of the 3 cauldrens: The Head, the Heart, and the Gut.
To me it also represents the 3 elements: Wind, Water, Fire ... You yourself holding it represents the Earth. It is often found carved into stone, the very element of the Earth.
